The late singer’s body was reportedly flown on a private plane owned by Tyler Perry from Los Angeles to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport close to midnight last night, reports PEOPLE. Upon arrival, Houston’s body was placed in a gold hearse and taken to Whigham Funeral Home in Newark where fans congregated to hold a candlelight vigil in her honor. The funeral home also handled Houston’s father John’s funeral in 2003.

Sources at the funeral home tell the Newark Star-Ledger, Houston’s funeral will be held this Saturday at noon at New Hope Baptist Church, the same church she attended as child and got her start singing in the choir. Earlier reports indicated that Houston’s funeral would be held at the Prudential Center, which seats 18,000, but her family seems to have changed their minds.
