The 30-minute doc is part of a larger, multi-platform initiative by Cartoon Network which launched in 2010. The focus of the campaign is to raise awareness of the problem and encourage bystanders to speak up.
The film features interviews with children between the ages of 8 and 13 years old who have been bullied at school. Venus Williams, Chris Webber, and Lisa Leslie have also lent their star power to the project.
This is not the first time that the President has spoken out on the subject. The White House held an Anti-Bullying Summit on March 10, 2011 (see below).
Stop Bullying: Speak Up will air this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. EDT/PDT, with an encore at 8 p.m.
