On Sunday, Chaka Khan called on her fellow entertainers and celebrity pals to record a special song, and film a PSA, in honor of slain teen Trayvon Martin, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Recorded in the same place as the hit “We Are the World” some 27 years ago, Eric Benét, Kelly Price, Luke James, Loretta Devine, Eva Pigford, Kimberly Elise, Kenny Latimore, Angela Bassett, Terry Crews, Boris Kodjoe and X Factor‘s Stacy Francis joined forces to rerecord “Super Life” from Khan’s 2007 album, Funk This.
Each star wore a t-shirt that said “Super Life – Fear Kills, Love Heals” as they shot the dramatic PSA.
