Solange Knowles recalls the first time she saw her niece, Blue Ivy Carter. “It was beautiful!” she told HollywoodLife. “I mean she’s such an angelic, beautiful baby girl. I was there literally when she was born.”
The proud auntie said she now understands how her big sis Beyoncé felt when she watched her giving birth to her son, Daniel Julez Smith, seven years ago.
“I’ve heard her over the years talk about how impactful that was in her life,” she added. “And then I totally understood that it is such a surreal amazing moment and it really, really puts life into perspective.”
The love that the Knowles sisters share for each other is evident. Back in January, just days after Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed Blue Ivy, Solange took to Twitter to address negative comments against her family. She seemed to be responding to rumors that her sister had a fake baby pump and the family are members of The Illuminati.
