The tag team cooking duo Pat and Gina Neely have filed for divorced after 20 years of marriage citing “irreconcilable differences”.
In an official statement released to Memphis news station WMC News 5, the Neelys write, “This was a tough decision, but we believe it is the best decision for us.”
The 2008 premiere of their show Down Home with the Neelys (Food Network) propelled the career of the Memphis based chefs. Since then, the pair launched a string of business ventures including the opening of their restaurant chain, The Neely’s Barbecue Parlor, that is located in New York City.
“Moving forward our focus will be on our individual brands and we are optimistic about our respective futures,” says the couple who have been together since high school.

In the past year, Gina has teamed up with George Foreman Grill brand for a weight-loss challenge where she lost 20lbs, while Pat has recently appeared solo working with My Family Dollar to fight hunger.
The Neely’s close their statement asking the public for “prayers as we go through this transition and honor our request for privacy at this time.”
