Are you ready for the Lenten season?
Today marks Fat Tuesday, a day for feasting, partying and saying goodbye to a vice—at least for the next 40 days.
Though the Lenten season, lasting through Easter, is traditionally a religious period symbolic of the 40 days that Jesus fasted, its practices have spilled over into the secular community. Be it meat, chocolate, gossiping or Netflix, both religious and non-religious persons use the time to kick a bad habit or take a step back from a daily practice to appreciate its value.
We want to know—have you ever successfully made it through Lent (no cheating!)? Take our poll and leave us a comment telling us what you’re giving up this year.
