“SlowDance,” the latest single from Jody Watley’s newly Reloaded Shalamar ® is now available at all digital outlets through Avitone Recordings, the Grammy Award-winner’s longtime imprint. The song is also the first official single release for Shalamar ® since 1990 in its earlier recording history. Watley, one of Pop/R&B and dance music’s most enduring and stylish trailblazers, is featured on the hypnotic groove along with Nate Allen Smith and Rosero McCoy. “I really wanted ‘SlowDance’ to bridge the gap with classic and contemporary R&B before we totally take it to the dance floor,” says Watley. “It’s a nice change of pace and of course the soul duet is lost musical art form.”
