We’ve seen Michel’le with a parental advisory sticker across her mouth and read details about the upcoming movie, but now that the official trailer has been released we’re getting a bigger glimpse into the film and Michel’le’s life.

The trailer for Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le shows where it all began and how soon it spiraled into violence.
Viewers ride high with Michel’le as she signs to Eazy E’s Ruthless Records and come crashing down as she faces domestic violence at the hands of Dr. Dre and a relationship with Suge Knight.
“Baby, you deserve so much better than this world,” actress Rhyon Nicole Brown, who plays Michel’le, says in the trailer, “Don’t trade your freedom for security.”
The clip is engrossing and dark, but adds a glimmer of hope as Michel’le is seen eventually standing up for herself, fighting her way out of a dark situation,
“It’s your turn to be scared,” Michel’le says toward the end of the trailer.
