Black Wedding Moment Of The Day: This Wheelchair Bound Bride Didn't Let Anything Block Her Bridal Bliss

As a girly girl, I always had an idea of what I'd love to look like on my wedding day. Every dress I dreamed of wearing on my wedding day however were not wheelchair friendly. Oohh, even the venues I initially wanted were not wheelchair friendly, thick rugs and stairs seemed to be the theme at every venue we loved that could fit our guest count 😓 The shoe I wanted? Not wheelchair friendly! The veil I wanted?? Yeah cathedral length veil isn't exactly wheelchair friendly either. 🤗 I was worried but somehow still had it in me to trust the Lord. One day while listening attentively during prayer, a word came to me asking me if all of my worries were more important than the Godly man I was getting married to, or the other perfect things God was doing in our lives. Worry went out of the window, and with God still being God, he made everything about our wedding perfect beyond any imagination I had! I'll write a blog post about everything in due time, but for right now, I just want to publicly acknowledge my father in heaven for who he is. The mighty man of wonder. #MyGodOfEphesians3:20 #ExceedinglyAbundantly Yes we planned, yes we got amazing vendors who delivered above and beyond what they were paid, but ultimately God made everything work together for our good. From the most wheelchair accessible venue (@villagioresort), up till the perfect @maggiesotterodesigns dress from @langsbridal and detachable off-shoulder sleeves and bling belt from @etsy…to my DIY bouquet (arranged by me and wrapped by the best planner ever - @touch_of_jewel), to my semi DIY pearl and bling veil, to the lovely @davidtutera earrings I really wanted gifted by bae @hrhoyefeola, and the dainty bracelet Le Boo gifted me the morning of our wedding…. mannn, I loved everything about my bridal look and our wedding day!!! I've seen so many posts praising me and my husband (still getting used to that lol) for being "one of a kind"… but, I want to use this medium to say to everybody that, it's the God in us that makes us so joyful.
