Dionne spotted Maurice in church and thought he was handsome. Years would go by before the two would become a pair but the seed was planted that their hearts were made for each other.
“She is funny, brilliant, beautiful, caring and fun,” said the groom of his bride Dionne.

Maurice said he knew Dionne was the one right away. He couldn’t wait to make her his!
When Maurice asked Dionne for her hand in marriage, they were both “giddy with excitement” and the bride-to-be was completely stunned and overjoyed! She said yes and the rest is history!
Maurice decided to make Dionne his wife “because she’s wonderful and the total package.”
“Very after we started dating,” Dionne said she knew Maurice was the one. “He was the kindest person I had ever met.”
Maurice loves that Dionne is geniune and sweet. “She is the same person with everyone she meets,” he said.
Dionne loves Maurice for all the reasons that a woman should love her man. “He is considerate, kind, smart, loyal, funny, hard working, patient, handsome, and amazing to be around,” she said.
“I reached a place in my mind when I was 31 where I was happy alone and I knew God would send the right person when it was the right time,” Dionne said.
“He’s amazing,” Dionne said of Maurice. “I couldn’t imagine life without him.”
Maurice asked Dionne for her hand in marriage in Time Square the day before New Year’s Eve. The two had the perfect late night New York City winter evening date night before he popped the question to seal the deal.

Maurice didn’t know when or where he would find love but he knew he would and with Dionne by his side he knew she was it. “It’s very easy to love my wife so I wasn’t surprised [to find true love],” he said.

Dionne and Maurice tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony that incorporated traditional romantic elements! How fab!
Dionne’s father walked her down the aisle as she prepared to meet Maurice at the altar to swap vows.
Looking into Maurice’s eyes at the altar, Dionne couldn’t help but think “I [can’t] believe that I [am] so blessed.”

With their beautiful museum venue as the backdrop, Maurice and Dionne had a wonderful wedding day space.
The couple wanted to make sure that their big day was simple yet classic and elegant, and the lucky Mr. and Mrs. did just that!
After swapping traditional vows, it was official–Dionne and Maurice were finally husband and wife!
Between the couple’s love story and this spectacular venue, we can’t decide which we love more!
For their first dance, the couple showed off their moves to Lauryn Hill’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”
The bridesmaids wore amazing cornflower blue dresses as they stood by Dionne’s side on her big day.
