Beyonce Throws Star-Studded Push Party With Family and Friends

Beyonce celebrated her upcoming double bundle of joy with friends and family Saturday with a “Carter push party.” The star-studded event was attended by many of the singer’s a-list friends including her Destiny’s Child sisters Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, a pregnant Serena Williams and Lala Anthony, as seen in a video posted by Beyonce’s mother Miss Tina. “Happy Carter push party,” the famous guest say in the video. The party was an African-themed family event, with lots of colorful African-inspired patterns, according to E! News. You can even hear Fela Kuti playing in the background of Miss Tina’s video. “The tables had lanterns, wooden elephants and pink and white roses for centerpieces. There was also a henna tattoo artist and African dancers and drummers walking around. A huge soul food buffet was served for a late lunch,” a source told E!. It was very much a family event. Blue Ivy and friends were also at the party playing. Kelly Rowland also showed up with her son Titan. But the focus of the day though was mother-to-be Beyonce, who displayed the full glory of her belly with henna tattoos. She looks very ready to pop! Congrats Mrs. Carter!
