Last night’s season 9 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta opened right in the middle of Kenya Moore and (ex?) Matt Jordan‘s breakup. Moore was spotted missing Jordan’s presence in her home and revealed that they broke up in Mexico earlier in the year after he became angry and got aggressive with her. As the premiere closed, we learn that Jordan crashes the housewarming on the next episode, which has us wondering: Are they a couple or nah?
Moore first introduced Jordan as her man during season 8 of the hit Bravo series and immediately had fans wondering if the former Miss USA had finally found the man of her dreams. The fitness trainer emerged as the hunky hero who seemed to have finally captured Ms. Gone With The Wind Fabulous’ heart. But, but from the looks of it, this hasn’t been a love built to last.
In preparation for the drama we’re sure to see unfold between them on the show this season, here is everything we know about the reality star and her on again, off again beau’s relationship:Over the Memorial Day weekend, Moore and Jordan had a huge falling out prompting her to release a statement asking for privacy as she and Matt worked through their spat together.
“Matt and I are having some issues, but there is no question we have love for each other,” says Moore, 45, in a statement. “Respectfully, please allow me to go through my own process. We appreciate some privacy at this time.”
Back in March, the two had to defend their relationship after rumors emerged that they were headed towards splittsville with Matt admitting, “I am still with my queen and I have no intentions on ever breaking up with that woman. She has my heart and I have hers.”
In a public plea to share his continued devotion, Jordan posted a photo of he and Moore amidst talks of their separation continuing to dispel that they were anything other than together.
The season 9 trailer of RHOA made jaws drop as Matt was seen breaking into Kenya’s garage windows as captured by security cameras. During the season premiere, Kenya admits that being in her finally finished new home without Matt is a little lonely.
Later in the season, we’ll see more of their on-again-off-again relationship unfold including an awkward housewarming party, phone calls and much more.
Will you be tuning in to see how the rest of this relationship unfolds? We just want Kenya to win at love once and for all!
