Real-life fixer Judy Smith is taking her talents to CBS.
Smith, the inspiration for Scandal‘s Olivia Pope, has teamed up with CSI executive producer Carol Mendelsohn and writer Ayelet Waldman for a new series called The Advocate, reports Shadow and Act.
The show will follow a former doctor who finds her calling as a medical advocate, working on behalf of patients and their familes to solve crisis and mysteries. Smith will executive produce the project alongside Mendelsohn.
The Advocate will serve as Smith’s latest TV endeavor following the massive success of Scandal.
There’s no word yet on when The Advocate will debut as it is still in development stages.
