Renea Mitchell is grieving the death of her 16-year old son, Robert, who was killed on April 10 after being stopped and tasered by police officers in Warren, Michigan, according to CNN.com. Police insist the teen, who apparently suffered from a learning disability, resisted arrest after running from his cousin’s car when the two were pulled over for having an expired license plate. Robert ran inside an abandoned house where officers say the 5-foot-2, 110-pound boy, resisted and they had no other choice but to restrain him with what they thought at the time was non-lethal force. His mother is pursuing a lawsuit against the Warren Police Department and says she wants justice now.-WLW
