The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin canceled two Brooklyn, New York concert dates due to an injury from a fall this weekend, according to AP. Franklin has fractured her ribs and is suffering from abdominal pain. Immediately following the incident, her doctors advised to rush in for an examination. The two Brooklyn dates have been rescheduled for the end of August. These will be Franklin’s first performances in the borough. “I was very much looking forward to being in Brooklyn and having a foot long hot dog at Coney Island,” said Ms. Franklin. “Hopefully, I will get it before the end of August.”
