Rapper Common stopped by the Wendy Williams show to promote his book, “One Day It’ll Make Sense,” and when his ex-girlfriends came up, he revealed a pretty funny story of how Erykah Badu broke up with him.
“I was in my hotel room on tour… and she called me and was like, ‘Hey, I don’t wanna be in this relationship no more. I’m liking somebody else,'” he said, according to Bossip. Erykah Badu doesn’t play around — she’s straight to the point!

And of course, Wendy couldn’t leave Serena Williams out of the conversation. Common, being the gentleman he is, addressed the topic by saying they’re just friends now, but admits she’s the type of woman he loves. “I love women that are beautiful in all shapes and sizes, but you know I do like, I have enjoyed a woman who is thick and likes to cook, and is strong, intelligent, still God-loving, but knows how to have fun.”
