According to TMZ, Ross went unconscious after takeoff and a doctor on board administered CPR. After the emergency landing, Ross continued to receive medical attention and was eventually transported to a local hospital.

Not more than 16 minutes after Ross’ health crisis, his good friend Wale, a fellow rapper, tweeted that Ross was doing okay. “I just talked to Ross… he’s 100 pct ok,” he wrote.
A few hours after the incident, Ross also tweeted that his seizure was not life-threatening. “Never dat homie,” he wrote.

The rapper was on his way to Memphis to open a Wingstop restaurant in what he says is an effort to put more jobs in the community.
