From crimson curly coifs to lush and lavish ‘locs, the natural hair community showed up and showed out at this inaugural event.
For CurlyNikki.com creator, Nikki Walton, hosting a New York City meetup with the help of the natural hair pros at Mizani was her way of bringing the blog to life. “The important thing about this event is that women take the experience that they have online and have that same experience in person,” she said. “I want them to meet other naturals in their community and continue to foster that bond.”
