But, the Bajan singer, as we all know from Twitter, is not one to mess with. Immediately following the incident, she tweeted, “I just met the most racist c**t EVER!!! This man said the craziest sh*t about Black women, called us dogs, sluts, we don’t look like sh*t, we don’t belong in the same hotels… needless to say, the #N***A in me came out! Bajan accent and all! Lol! Turns out the hotel manager’s Black. Oh and he had the NERVE to diss Black people in his tighty whities! SMH.. and a lil Black wouldn’t hurt him.”

To add to the racially insensitve climate in Europe, Dutch fashion magazine, Jackie, issued an apology for calling Rihanna a “n***abitch.” The story was about achieving Rihanna’s edgy style. Editor Eva Hoege posted an apology on the magazine’s Facebook page saying, “I hope that you all believe there was absolutely no racist motive behind the choice of words. It was stupid, it was naive to think that this was an acceptable form of slang.”
