Seal is kicking off 2012 on a soulful note by releasing another ode to the soul classics we love. His upcoming album, “Soul 2” (out January 24), picks up where his previous album, “Soul” (out in 2008) left off, with reinterpretations of iconic R&B songs.
Listen as Seal remakes Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together,” Rose Royce’s “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” Teddy Pendergrass’s “Love T.K.O.,” and many more.
For the album, his eight, the Grammy winner teamed up with long-time collaborator Trevor Horn and legendary producer David Foster (Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton) to reinterpret what he describes as “all-time classics.”
