Tamera Mowry-Housley is pregnant! The news comes less than a year after her twin sister, Tia, gave birth to her first baby, son Cree Taylor.
“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” she confirmed to PEOPLE. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”
Mowry-Housley married the man of her dreams, Fox News correspondent Adam, in a lavish wedding last May. After their ceremony, the couple revealed they weren’t planning to become parents in the immediate future. But it looks like a trip to the motherland changed all that. “It’s just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter,” said Mowry-Housley about the couple’s recent trip to Africa. “Adam and I looked at each other and said, ‘Why wait?’”
The first three months of her pregnancy for the Rebounding star were a bit rocky. “The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness — more like evening sickness. Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now — more like myself,” she said.
Up next is the second season of her hit reality show Tia and Tamera. It looks like we have one more good reason to watch the show: Mowry-Housley will finally get to see what her sister Tia felt like being pregnant on camera.
She’s due in November.
