Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge, his fiancé of two years, tied the knot in a Honolulu ceremony on Monday, according to People. He reportedly said “I Do” less than 24 hours after New Edition performed.
Wearing a red suit with Addias sneakers, surrounded by friends, family and children Landon, La’Princia, Bobby Jr. and the couple’s four-year-old son Cassius, the happy father exchanged vows with the woman he credits for changing his life after his 2007 divorce with the late Whitney Houston. “I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her,” Brown told People.
However, the one family member who was notably absent was Bobbi Kristina. According to sources, the two are not on good terms. Brown and his daughter haven’t been spotted together in months.
Brown told Matt Lauer in a Today show interview, “I know what she is actually doing… I think people are, you know, making assumptions of what my daughter is and how strong she is. People tend to want to control strong-willed people and that’s what I see. I am her father, she talks to me about everything.”
It appears his relationship with his daughter isn’t what he painted it to be.
Do you think Bobbi Kristina should have set her differences aside and attended her father’s wedding?
