Here’s what we’re talking about over our tea:
Nick Cannon is working on a new project that addresses a much younger audience. The America’s Got Talent host has been keeping a journal for much of his life, chronicling poems and notes, which is set to be released under Scholastic. Titled Neon Aliens Ate My Homework and Other Poems, the children’s book will feature black-and-white illustrations from multiple different street artists. The combination of the poetry and drawings is set to reflect Cannon’s interest in putting poetry and hip-hop together. This book—full of Cannon’s writings from the age of 8—is set to be released in March. And if you’re looking for a little Cannon to read before March, he will also be releasing another children’s book in October titled, Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas, which is inspired by his twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
