In our first victory of the night, John Legend and Common have nabbed the Golden Globe for Best Song in a Motion Picture for “Glory.”
The song is featured in the Golden Globe-nominated Selma, and the award was presented to the duo by Prince. Ironically, Prince was the last Black man to win a Golden Globe for Best Song in 2007 for “The Song of the Heart” from Happy Feet.
