Janet Jackson fans’ wishes have been answered. Just weeks after a mock missing poster asking for her return went viral, the singer has revealed some big news.
According to E! News, Jackson has officially announced via a video posted on Twitter that she’s back. “I promised you’d hear it Fromm my lips, and now you will,” she says in the videos. “This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement,” says Jackson.
Jackson has kept a low profile since marrying Wissam Al Mana in 2012. So low that the mock poster calling for her return read, “Seriously, Janet, where the hell are you? We NEED you back. We miss you. Your fans miss you. The MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it’s done!” the poster read. “We’re not asking. We’re BEGGING!”
There is no word yet on when fans can expect the new album or tour but Jackson made it clear that it’s on the way.
