Cosby is out. Up next, Tamron Hall.
In an effort to replace Bill Cosby’s seat on Temple University’s Board of Trustees, the University has turned to Hall, a Temple alumnus and NBC correspondent who cohosts the third hour of the Today show.
The 36-member board has been under pressure recently to elect more women. Hall will be Temple’s fourth female board member.
“We went up [to New York] and had lunch with her. She blew my socks off,” said Patrick O’Connor, chairman of the board of trustees. “She’s a home run for us. . . . She’s an exciting, vibrant, loyal alum. She’ll add a new dimension to our board.”
Hall will take her seat on the board this December.
Congratulations Tamron on such an honorable achievement.
