Tracy Morgan is back to doing what he loves the most: comedy.
Sixteen months after he was seriously injured in a car accident that killed comedian James McNair, Morgan returned to stand-up comedy last night, reports USA TODAY.
Tracy Morgan Ties the Knot Over the Weekend
Morgan took the stage at New York City’s Comedy Cellar, where he joked around about his lengthy recovery. His on-stage comeback comes just days before he’s set to host this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
“If God can get you to it, he’ll get you through it,” Morgan told USA TODAY backstage. “And I’m here. My wife kept saying, ‘We’ll get through it, we’ll get back to the funny.’ And we did that tonight…It’s time for us to start laughing again.”
Great to see you back, Tracy!
