A Tribe Called Quest is hitting the stage one more time.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of their first album, People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, the group will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this evening.
Performing some of their classic cuts including, “Electric Relaxation,” “Scenario,” “Jazz (We’ve Got),” and “I Left My Wallet in El Segundo,” Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi will come together for the first time since their 2013 appearance on tour with Kanye West.
The reissue of the album is available today with new remixes on two of the group’s most well known songs.
Mega producer Pharrell honored ATCQ with a special rework of “Bonita Applebum,” while J.Cole had a hand in creating a modern take to the classic, “Can I Kick It?”
