Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warrior star Stephen Curry, sent Twitter into a frenzy Saturday night when she made comments about the latest women’s fashions.
While browsing through a style magazine, Curry tweeted that “everyone’s into barely wearing clothes” and that she likes “to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.”
Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters

Many took offense to the comments, defending their rights to dress how they please and accusing Curry of shaming women.
Although many took Curry’s words to mean that she was shaming those who might not cover up, she clarified her stance in another tweet saying that it’s never okay to tear women down.
Regardless of if you like my “style of clothes” or not (which I don’t care) please do not tear women down and degrade them… Not cool peeps
