When it was announced last year that NWA would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, hip-hop fans worldwide rejoiced. One of the most influential rap groups in music history was fianally getting recognized by the music industry in a big way.
N.W.A. to Be Inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Now, to make things even better, Lamar will induct the group into the Hall of Fame, the cherry on top of what’s been a stellar year for Lamar who’s admitted that NWA had a huge influence on his music.
“When I think of N.W.A, it wasn’t even music to me, it was a real lifestyle. Brothas from my neighborhood that made it out.”
The ceremony will take place April 8th at the Barclays Arena in Brooklyn.
