Black Woman Assaulted at Trump Rally in Kentucky
Mic reports of an incident involing a man in North Carolina who was sucker-punched by an audience member at a Donald Trump presidential rally.
A video, which surfaced on Thursday morning, shows the African-American man, Rakeem Jones, walking up the stadium steps to seemingly leaving the rally venue when he is sucker-punched in the face by a white man.

Jones told The Washington Post that the punch came out of nowhere and following the blow, he was forced to leave.
“Boom, he caught me,” he said in an telephone interview to The Washington Post. “After I get it, before I could even gain my thoughts, I’m on the ground getting escorted out. Now I’m waking up this morning looking at the news and seeing me getting hit again.”

Jones’ attacker, 78-year-old John McGraw, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
