For the latest installment of “2 Chainz Explains” on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, the rapper returned to help us understand politics, specifically, what happens if Republicans do not have enough delegates to secure the nominations.

The Collegrove rapper explained that when Republicans don’t have enough delegates they release all the delegates and make you vote again, “When this happens the convention goes ham,” he said, “They don’t care who you voted for the first time around. That’s gangster right there.” This continues until the reach the required amount of votes.

A brokered convention hasn’t happened in 64 years, but if it ever happens, according to 2 Chainz, “it’s going to be a hot mess.” He explains that in 1924 delegates at the Democratic convention had to vote 103 times before a decision was made, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!”
