The time has finally come! Beyoncé has debuted her highly anticipated activewear collection Ivy Park — and we want everything.
The 200-piece line of curve-hugging spandex, stylish sweats and workout-ready gear all embazloned with the brand’s logo was revealed to the world Thursday morning via a stunning video featuring the Grammy Award-winning superstar and a gang of gorgeous models getting their sweat on.
“When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my workout clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me,” Beyoncé said in a press release. “My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies. I know when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel that same way.”
That’s definitely the vibe we get from the video. And perhaps the best moment in the clip comes courtesy of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter Blue Ivy who makes a super cute cameo.
The collection, which officially hits racks on April 14, is described as “a joint venture, partnership and stand-alone brand created by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green.” Green, who serves as the chairman of the Arcadia Group, a retail giant that includes Topshop and Topman, said that he worked closely with Bey and her team over the past 18 months to create the collection.
“Her engagement, out many meetings and her continued involvement in the range developement has enabled us to deliver some wonderful products. It has been great, fun, exciting and hughly memorable. I believe this is just the beginning of our Ivy Park journey together.”
We’re excited too! The collection will be available in over 50 countries at 12 different stores and their e-commerce sites, which include Topshop, Nordstrom, Zalando, Net-A-Porter, Selfridges, JD ports, Namshi, Zalora, The Iconic, Glue Store, Myer, and Hudson’s Bay.
