Is Jay Z really planning to address Beyonce’s alleged lyrical commentary on their relationship troubles with a new album of his own?
‘Lemonade’ Becomes Beyoncé’s Sixth No. 1 Album
According to the latest “Lemonade” speculation from US Weekly, that’s exactly what’s about to happen. The publication reportedly spoke to an unidentified source close to the situation who says the rap mogul is currently working on a project that will “tell his side of the story.”
Fans, critics and everyone in between have been running wild with theories as to the real meaning behind Beyonce’s seemingly personal album lyrics that tell the story of a woman scorned after being plagued with suspicions of infidelity on the part of her beloved husband. Some have taken the opposing position, suggesting Queen Bey was simply singing about the experiences of women close to her, but the source claims the album’s story is indeed a personal one.
What Black Women Are Saying About Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’
“The album says it all. It explains how she and Jay got through their problems. The good outweighed the bad, so she gave him a second chance,” says the unidentified source, who’s allegedly “close to” the Carters.
While the idea of a Lemonade response album from Jay Z has music lovers itching with curiosity, for now, this claim is nothing more than one of the many unsubstantiated rumors swirling around entertainment’s number one power couple.
