Eve wants to make sure that girls all around the world have access to a quality education.
The rapper was just tapped as the Goodwill Ambassador for nonprofit Malaika, which provides quality education and healthcare to individuals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo [DRC].

Eve was first introduced to the organization when she traveled to the DRC to inaugurate the village of Kalebuka’s first official library on International Women’s Day. The library provide books to 230 girls at a Malaika-sponsored school.

“My trip to the DRC to visit Malaika’s projects exceeded my expectations,” Eve said in a statement. “I knew it would be a great environment for the girls, but Malaika goes above and beyond. You can feel the excitement from the girls when they take their seats in class. The library will be an incredible addition to the Malaika School and to their curriculum.”
