While the internet was in a frenzy with excitement over multiple new music releases within an hour of each other last night, neo-soul queen Erykah Badu announced that she’d also be adding new music into the mix….and she’s delivered.

Erykah has continued to see success from the release of her last mixtape But You Can’t Use My Phone at the end of 2015, but fans were still more than happy when she took to her Twitter account late Thursday evening to sporadically announce plans to drop something new on Friday afternoon.

Keeping good on her promise, Erykah again took to social media to release an official remix to the latest fan-favorite from Drake’s OVO Sound artist PartyNextDoor titled “Come And See Me.” The original single has already been well-received among the masses, but Ms. Badu’s distinct vocals over the sultry track certainly take the tune to new heights.

Although no additional details on a new album for 2016 have surfaced as of yet, Ms. Badu will be making her way across the country this summer to grace more than a few stages with her musical presence. PartyNextDoor is reportedly planning to release his debut studio album “P3” sometime this year.
