Whether it’s on the basketball court or on the dance floor, you’ll find La La Anthony cheering for her husband! The actress took to Instagram to give Carmelo Anthony some love for doing the “running man challenge” with Jimmy Fallon. “My baby did good!” she exclaimed as the 6’ 8” NBA player showed off his moves on The Tonight Show.
She may not have been shooting in the gym with Carmelo, but her support for his career and other endeavors are far from unnoticed.
This year she took her court side seat cheers to social media to use her influence to help Carmelo get a spot on the All-Star team for his seventh consecutive year. The Knick’s player all-star return was in jeopardy, therefore La La decided to use her social media prowess to create a Twitter campaign to gain votes. She asked her 3.49 million followers to help her husband secure his spot in Toronto game. Anthony initially didn’t want his wife involved with driving votes. “Your wife will always support you,’’
Anthony said. “I can’t tell her what to do. She’s got her own team and own thing. I try to tell her you don’t need to do it. She says, ‘Who are you to tell me? I got more followers than you.’’’
The busy mother and actress is currently filming New Edition: The Movie miniseries, while prepping for Power’s third season and promoting her Motives cosmetics ine, but she still finds time to treat her man to an evening at Red Lobster. Nothing says I love you (and you’re in the Beyhive) quite like sharing a basket of cheddar bay biscuits.
