It’s official: Keke Palmer is a beauty darling.
The 22-year-old actress and singer, stunned on the red carpet sporting a skin tight merlot dress, strappy sandals, and a super edgy cut that only she could pull off. She’s the real deal when it comes to beauty—daring, fresh, punk chic and all. And, while we loved her over all look at the 2016 BBMAs, what really caught out eye was her two-tone pedicure.

To get the look, Palmer used two contrasting shades, a taupe-y beige and black — and finished the look with a high shine top coat. Start by applying two coats of your favorite taupe hue. Once the coats have dried, place a thin strip of tape over the dry coat to use a guide to layer the black polish on top. Apply two coats of the black polish and wait for it to dry before removing the tape. Complete the look with your favorite high shine top coat. Paint the rest of your toes with the taupe hue.
