The First Lady has recruited some amazing women for a new summit aimed at helping women celebrate their achievements and empowering them to push for more.
Celebrities and bosses like Laverne Cox, Cecile Richards, Oprah, Tracee Ellis Ross, Indra Nooyi, and Kerry Washington have pledged their support in helping advance women in America and promote the first ever United State of Women Summit.
Michelle Obama Shares Her Post-White House Aspirations
In a video for the summit, Obama and her group of flawless friends state that they will, “Learn whatever I want like it’s nobody’s business. Stand by my game-changing ideas. Use my voice to stand up for my community.”
The women vow to fight sexism, pursue equal pay, and make sure that women have the right to do whatever they wish with their bodies.
The United State of Women Summit will be held in Washington, DC on June 14th and live streamed for those who can’t attend.
