It’s official! Michael B. Jordan will be joining the cast of Black Panther and once again teaming up with Creed director, Ryan Coogler.
In a brief interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor confirmed the news, saying, “I’m super excited, especially to put a different spin on it. I’m looking forward to working with Ryan [Coogler] once again. It’s gonna be a good time.”

Jordan may have also confirmed Lupita Nyong’o’s casting as well. When asked who he couldn’t wait to work with he said, “Lupita Nyong’o and Chadwick Boseman.”
No word yet on who Jordan will be playing, but most bets are that the Creed actor will go up against Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa as the movie’s villain. So, if you weren’t already excited about this film, this confirmation should definitely do the trick.
