Beyoncé has helped raise over $82,000 for the victims of the Flint water crisis via her entertainment and management company, Parkwood Entertainment.
As part of her BeyGOOD initiative, the company raised $82,234 for Flint, presenting a check to the United Way of Genesee County. In addition to the funds, The Detroit News reports that Parkwood announced that 14 area students would receive “college gifts” to help with educational expenses. The students were also given tickets to Tuesday’s concert.

The Flint initiative was announced in April and funds were raised by Bey’s fans, who were given the opportunity to contribute when they purchased tickets to her Formation tour.
Kudos to Bey and the BeyHive for giving back in such a big way.
