Relaxed beauties and naturalistas love prestige hair brand, Oribe Beauty. In an interview with WWD, the luxury line announced that they will expand into six different beauty categories including makeup, skincare, body care, nails, tools and accessories.
President and co-founder of Oribe Hair Care, Daniel Kaner noted that the brand has had plans to expand into a “full-fledged” beauty line since it was founded over 30 years ago.
“We saw ourselves [eventually] as a very upscale-looking pro shop,” said Kaner. “Our brand voice [now] is familiar with certain consumers. A lot of people who are addicted to hair-care products or beauty, they know [what] Oribe is. It makes sense [and] feels right to slowly move into the categories we originally thought about. It feels like we’d be well-received at this point,” Kaner stated in an interview with WWD.
The brand is set to debut 18 new products across makeup, skin care, nails and body in July of this year on net-a-porter.com and Birchbox. Oribe fans know that brand is known for gorgeous packaging, deliciously fragranced products and high quality ingredients. Assuming that same vision will extend into their color and skincare lines, this new chapter for the luxury brand is definitely something to celebrate.
According to WWD, the there will be two products in the body category: a replenishing body wash and a crème, both scented with Oribe’s signature scent, Côte d’Azur. Five skincare products will make their debut including a luxurious gold-infused face hydrating and brightening mask along with three lip shades, three nail lacquers, a collection of hot and dry styling tools, and hair luxury accessories.
Products will be sold at a higher price point, retailing between $32 for a nail polish and $348 for a luxury hair dryer. Needless to say, we’re anxiously awaiting the launch. That gold-infused face mask sounds divine.
