Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is gearing up to address members of the National Association of Black Journalists along with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists at their joint convention.
BuzzFeed News reports that Clinton, following in the footsteps of Presidents Obama, Clinton and Bush, will appear at the convention on Friday to confront the issues affecting minority communities.
“It is notable that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has recognized the 2016 NABJ-NAHJ Convention as a vital gathering to discuss her platform and the issues impacting Black and Latino communities,” NABJ President Sarah Glover said in a statement.
Specific details of Clinton’s appearance have not yet been announced, but there’s a possibility that attendees will have the opportunity to ask her questions.

Representatives from both groups reached out to Donald Trump inviting him to speak, but his campaign has not yet responded.
