A new challenge is trending on Twitter, with rappers freestyling over the beat of Monica’s “So Gone.” Yesterday Chicago rapper Chance the Rapper joined in.
Chance rapped a freestyle he wrote for his girlfriend, whom he thanked for filming the video, before going in about being in love with her and reminiscing about having sprained his ankle while they played basketball. He even posted a photo of the sprained ankle and later shared a remix of “So Gone” featuring TEEJAY, writing, “I used to skate to this at the rink #sogonechallenge.”

Both Monica and Missy Elliot, who co-wrote and co-produced the song, took to social media to show love for Chance’s freestyle. Monica tweeted, “@chancetherapper bodied this…Wanna see yours! Use hashtag #SoGoneChallenge & I’ll be sharing the ones I love.”
