You may have seen a number of memes going around that feature rapper Yung Joc and his new sleek tresses. Well, during an interview with V-103 Atlanta, Joc admitted to being behind a few of them.
Last week, Yung Joc’s new smooth mane went viral, and memes are still popping up with no end in sight for the hilarious trend.
“I knew they were going to get on me, so I had to get in on it too,” the rapper revealed. Joc says he’s behind two of the most popular memes about his hair: the Olive Oil relaxer image and the Five Heartbeats.

I Have So Many Questions About Yung Joc’s Hair
Joc said when he described the style he wanted his stylist seemed a little surprised but went along with it.
“She was like, ‘Now what do you want me to do?’, and I was like ‘Look I want you to give me something that looks like the white boy, the hairstyle with the little part and swoop on the side like Classic Man’ [referring to Jidenna and his hit song], and she was like, ‘Uh, oh, okay.'”
The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star says he got the new ‘do for a role. The rapper is working on a number of projects including an upcoming stoner comedy, Waiting to Inhale. Joc says the style is natural, it’s just a simple blowout. “No relaxer, no hot comb, nothing. I’m from Atlanta, for real for real. Back in the days, there were cats walking around with finger waves and s-curls and I don’t have any of that.”
