A string of leaked e-mails from former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s personal account have provided a scathing account of how he really feels about fellow Republican and GOP Presidential Nominee Donald Trump.
Powell has spoken out before about his lack of support for Trump, but he sends an even clearer message of disapproval for The Donald in the detailed email thread, believed to have been exposed by hackers and later posted on the website DCLeaks.com. In the brutally honest email exchange, Powell refers to Trump as a “national disgrace” before adding: “he’s in the process of destroying himself, no need for dems to attack him.”

At another point in the e-mails, Powell admits that Trump’s never-ending quest to prove that false claim that President Obama wasn’t born in the United States is indeed “racist,” according to NBC News.
The Trump campaign has yet to address the comments made by Powell in the most recent leaks. Meanwhile, Powell himself, who voted for President Obama twice despite describing himself as a lifelong Republican, has authenticated the messages and says there could be more to come from the hackers.
