Five months after sharing her engagement photos exclusively with ESSENCE, gospel singer Kierra Sheard married the love of her life, Jordan Kelly.
The couple wed in a small church ceremony attended by their parents, and the bride revealed that they’re planning a bigger post-pandemic ceremony when large gatherings are safe. “I love you @mrjordankelly,” wrote Sheard. “I’m so excited and honored to be your wife. With God at the center, us staying committed, putting our work in it, Here’s to forever. Forever & ever. Just until the wedding celebration.”
Sheard, who played her mother Karen Clark Sheard in The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel biopic, was walked down the aisle by her father Bishop J. Drew Sheard. ” Having to minimize this big moment, while missing so many others who I wanted to be there, was really tough,” admitted Sheard. “However, I was completely blessed to share this moment with the people who raised me.”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
