Do you remember your very first lip gloss? I do. It was crystal clear, with glittery flecks that made both my eyes and lips twinkle. While it didn’t impart a bold hue, it made my lips shine, and it was just right for making me feel pretty, and all grown up. Fast forward to now, and its glass finish is still sufficient for making me feel like a princess.
Even though I have access to hundreds of lipsticks (right here on my desk), lip gloss will forever be my favorite. So, of course, I was happy to see so many celebrities rocking sparkling lips on the blue carpet at last night’s 2019 BET Awards. Ciara, Justine Sky, and Ryan Destinee’s pout proved you don’t need color on your lips to stand out.
