Quavo has been hitting the books in quarantine. The Migos rapper, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, announced he earned his diploma from Berkmar High School in Lilburn, Georgia. He graduated with the class of 2020 on Thursday.
He revealed the big news by posting a slideshow of himself in his recently earned cap and gown and some fresh drip on his Instagram page.
“Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of QUARANTINE 2020,” he wrote in the caption for the post. “We Lit. Now What College Should I Go To?”
The 29-year-old initially dropped out shortly just months shy of completing his senior year as he pursued a rap career that would give us all the blessing that is “Bad and Boujee.”
Since COVID-19 has left Magic City out of the question, he celebrated his accomplishment in another Southern rapper friendly way by dropping new music.
“And to celebrate we gonna drop SMASH tonight,” he continued in the caption. Migos released their track with NBA Youngboy “Need it,” shortly after.
Check out their new song here.
Congratulations Quavo!
