Rihanna’s edges are always in check. And according to her hairstylist, the Bajan popstar uses a very affordable product to keep them that way.
In an interview with Refinery29, her longtime hairstylist Yusef Williams revealed that the Work singer uses ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion on her edges. The hair lotion is a super affordable $5.49 at your local Walgreens.
“It’s good for the hairline,” Williams says of the lotion.
Other products that Williams uses on Rih’s natural tresses include raw castor oil, hot oil treatments, and Peter Thomas Roth‘s conditioners and scalp treatments. “
“I like to put it on and let it sit under the dryer because it really moisturizes and promotes hair growth,“ he says. ”Deep conditioners are imperative at all times.“
But Williams’ main tip is for women to let their hair breathe every now and then, a concept that he uses on his famous client.
“You have to let your hair breathe, give it a break, and take care of it,” he said. “I say that you have to talk to the hair and pray on it. It’s real.”
